One thing I learned as an Author is that everyone isn't going to enjoy your books. Many will and much won't but don't let that discourage you as a writer. Don't let negative book reviews get the best of you either. The crabs in a barrel mentality are very present within the literary industry and if you are not equipped with thick skin you will find yourself second guessing your choice to become published in the first place.
