Having trouble selling your book? It could be that you are targeting the WRONG audience. For example posting your book in a group where 75% of the members prefer street/urban lit and your book is historical fiction, would be a problem since the group isn't targeted for your genre. Know what type of group you're posting in BEFORE you ask to join. Once in the group engage potential readers by talking to whomever will talk with you, it may initially be just one but with consistency that number will change. Don't be the author who just drops an Amazon link and doesn't speak. Also keep in mind that groups targeted for authors and publishers isn't a place you want to post a book advertisement either. #LiteraryJewel #BooksAreABusiness
