Charlamagne Tha God lands talk show executive produced by Stephen Colbert
The new TV show was co-created by CBS “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert.
“Tha God’s Honest Truth with Lenard ‘Charlamagne’ McKelvey” will debut on Comedy Central on Friday nights starting Sept. 17.
The show brings Colbert back to Comedy Central for the first since “The Colbert Report,” a satirical take on personality driven political shows, ended its 11-season run in 2014.
