Movie Review:Equalizer 3 by Marlon McCaulsky

Synopsis: Robert McCall finds solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Now living in Southern Italy, he soon discovers local crime bosses control his new friends. As events turn deadly, McCall becomes their protector by taking on the mafia.
My Thoughts: This film gave me precisely what I wanted: Robert McCall mercilessly dropping bodies left and right. Denzel Washington is my favorite actor, and watching him being a cold-blooded killer was so satisfying. Director Antoine Fuqua did an excellent job making you hate the mafia Antagonist in this film; when Robert McCall starts making fools un-alive, you are cheering for him.
Fuqua also did a great job of showcasing the beauty, food, and culture of Southern Italy. It made me want to take a trip and experience it for myself. You buy into why McCall intends to protect the people in this small town from these A-hole mafia dudes terrorizing them. It was also nice to see Denzel and a now adult Dakota Fanning share the screen again 20 years after his film "Man On Fire."
Equalizer 3 was an exhilarating film with some fantastic and gruesome kills. I love that the film didn't make Robert McCall untouchable. You believe a man of his age and extremely high skill level can destroy his enemies. I want to see more Equalizer, with hopefully Denzel's son, John David Washington, playing a younger version of Robert McCall. I highly recommend this film as it is just the kind of movie you will love to watch each moment.
