If media reports coming out this morning are accurate, the congratulations are in order for Tyler Perry, the new majority owner of Black Entertainment Television Media Group (which also includes VH1 as part of the deal). Paramount will still retain a minority stake.
The next time you hesitate in investing in your writing career, just take a look at what this man has done! This is the same man who invested $12,000 into his first stage play that flopped and would make any person just give up. But he dusted himself off and now look at him.
