36 years later, Tom Cruise is back with Top Gun and it's better than ever. Rarely is a sequel better than the original but Mavrick excels in every way. All the Nostalgia and fan service is done correctly. Surprisingly a very emotional story especially when Val Kilmer shows up.

The story is great and the breathtaking aerial footage is amazing. The fact that it is really Tom Cruise flying that jet is mind blowing. Tom Cruise is one the last great movie stars and I'm glad this film is probably going to be his most financially successful of all time.

This is probably so far my favorite film of the year. I highly recommend this film! See this on the biggest screen you can. The perfect Memorial Day film.
